About our Network

WRAP is a community of practice organized by and for Resource Mobilizers. As Resource Mobilizers, we are the individuals in our communities who specialize in cultivating relationship networks and stewarding the flow of assets (social and material) back into social justice movement and community-building.

We are working class people, people with access to/influence over financial wealth, nonprofit employees, volunteer organizers, social justice activists and advocates, radical philanthropists, and all kinds of other everyday people actively pursuing a more equitable and just distribution of resources to support our values.

We bring our collective talents, skills, values, and inspirations together to practice Wealth Reclamation for social justice and institutional change.

We are committed to living Black feminist values, practicing radical inclusivity, and working in solidarity with one another to reclaim wealth for our communities and in support of our intersectional movements for justice and equity.

Together, we represent an expansive network of Resource Mobilizers, spanning a vast range of geographies, priorities, causes, and strategies, all united in movement-building for equity and justice.

Today we come to this practice space as individuals seeking opportunities to learn and grow together, in support of our individual callings to action and the sustainability of social justice formations and campaigns that are actively advancing our pursuit of solidarity economy principles.

Ultimately, as the Wealth Reclamation Academy of Practitioners, we seek to transform the traditional spaces and practices of extractive philanthropy to better represent broader movement values of equity, justice, and reparation.
